NaviGATORing UF/IFAS CALS gives high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience what it's like to be a student at the University of Florida in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. While shadowing a UF CALS Ambassador, students will be given the opportunity to learn more about the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the UF admissions process (both freshman and transfer), sit in on classes, learn about our numerous campus organizations and activities, and explore the unique majors, minors, and professional development opportunities in CALS.

NaviGATORing CALS gives high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience what it's like to be a student at the University of Florida in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.

Yes. While shadowing a CALS Ambassador, you will attend classes with them. You will be paired with a CALS Ambassador that is in the major you are interested in.

Yes. There is time on the agenda for you to visit the department where your major of interest is housed and spend some time asking questions and learning more about the major.

Yes. Admissions experts will be in attendance to talk with you about the possibility of becoming a CALS Gator!

Yes. Participants will be asked to submit a $15.00 non-refundable fee. The fee will be collected before the event. A link for payment will be sent upon acceptance.

Yes. You are limited to two guests due to space limitations.

No. If needed, you will be responsible for securing your own lodging.

Yes. When you register for the event you will be asked to provide the tag number of the car you will be driving and a pass will be provided along with additional information about where to park on the day of the event.

Partially, guests will be allowed to attend the morning session and the afternoon session beginning at 3:00 p.m. Guests will be on their own from 10:40 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

No. Each student's schedule is personalized to complement their academic major of interest and therefore participants must be confirmed in order to attend.

Changes to your reservation will be allowed if there is space available.

A campus tour is a part of the agenda. CALS Ambassadors will escort participants through campus highlighting buildings, libraries, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, the J. Wayne Reitz Union and much more.
