Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS): Costa Rica, Peru or South Africa

The Organization for Tropical Studies is a consortium of more than 50 universities and research institutions in the United States, Central and South America and Africa. The University of Florida is a founding member of this consortium.

OTS offers undergraduate and graduate programs emphasizing natural resource management, ecology, environmental policy and tropical biology. While most courses are 6 to 8 weeks in length, some programs provide full semesters of study.

Several courses are offered in Costa Rica and some courses are also offered in Peru, Brazil and the Union of South Africa. OTS owns and operates three research stations in Costa Rica where graduate and undergraduate students can conduct research projects as well. Learn more about Organization for Tropical Studies.
