
A weeklong summer program, this immersive experience brings high school juniors and senior to Gainesville to learn about the role of agriculture and natural resources in solving issues related to food insecurity, all while exposing students to academic and career paths in the college.

This program brings K-12 teachers in Florida to campus to learn about agriculture, natural resources, and related life sciences. Throughout the weeklong experience, they also create a lesson plan to incorporate ANR into their typical curricula.

These experiences connect students with faculty experts and industry partners, allowing them to contribute to meaningful research, gain practical skills, and engage in community outreach.

These learning opportunities enable students to present research, gain global perspectives, and apply their learning in real-world settings through conferences, study abroad, and course field trips.
